What it is

Aftermath is a 150-preset expansion pack for Applied Acoustics Systems' String Studio VS-3, a string modeling synthesizer built on physical modeling algorithms. Created by sound designer Daniel Stawczyk, it covers traditional synthesis categories - bass, chords and stabs, gated sounds, leads, pads, and plucks - while adding 49 special effects instruments that push from hyperrealistic to orchestral and deliberately unsettling territory. The pack ships with the free AAS Player plugin, so the presets are accessible even without owning String Studio VS-3.
