What it is
Atlas Flutes is a Kontakt Player instrument built around six world woodwinds - alto flute, bass flute, Kaval, West African flute, Quenacho, and pan pipes - originally developed by film composer Christoph Zirngibl (Sonora Cinematic) for his score on "Mia and Me: The Hero of Centopia." Rather than long sustained lines, it focuses on short, percussive, textural articulations like staccatissimo, jet tones, and flutters that are hard to find in typical orchestral libraries. It runs in the free Kontakt Player (6.7.1 or later), so no full Kontakt license is needed.
