What it is

BAE-1073 is a three-band equalizer plugin emulating classic 1970s hardware preamp and EQ circuitry from Antelope Audio. It adds analog-style grit and character without overtly coloring the sound. A high-pass filter sits ahead of the EQ bands for extra control.

Who it's for

Producers and mixing engineers who want a vintage console-style EQ for vocals, drums, and other sources. It suits anyone who wants to add analog warmth and shape tone with a few broad moves.

Key features

• Three EQ bands pre-set to high pass, band pass, and low pass modes
• A dedicated high-pass filter ahead of the EQ bands
• Available in VST3, Audio Unit, and AAX formats for Windows 10/11 and Mac (Intel or Apple Silicon)
• Includes both the native plugin and the Synergy Core real-time versions
