CARBON is UJAM's virtual rhythm guitar instrument, built around heavily processed and distorted electric guitar tones rather than clean acoustic sounds. It runs in Instrument Mode, where you play your own articulations across a virtual 8-string guitar, or Player Mode, which triggers pre-built riffs and phrases you can reshape to fit a track. Its Layerer engine stacks up to four virtual guitarists at once for thicker, wider rhythm parts, ranging from subtle, delicate textures to aggressive, in-your-face distortion.
