What it is
Carbonator is a saturation plugin from Carbonated Audio with five circuit-modeled DSP flavors, each themed as a soda variety - Cola for console warmth, Cherry for tube grit, Grape for lo-fi digital crunch, Lemon-Lime for harmonic air and sparkle, and Orange Cream for warm resonant drive. A single "Fizz" knob controls the saturation intensity, and a "Carbonated" blended mode combines all five circuits at once. It runs zero-latency in VST3, AU, AAX, and Standalone formats on Mac and Windows.
Who it's for
Producers who reach for a saturation plugin on every session and want fast, musical results without menu-diving or complex multi-plugin routing. It works equally well on individual tracks, buses, and full mixes.
