What it is
Cenere is a subtractive synthesizer plugin from Stagecraft Software that pairs vintage-style oscillators with modern wavetable power. It runs sounds through analog-modeled morphing filters and lets you automate every parameter at audio rate, so it can go from warm classic pads to aggressive, evolving textures.
Who it's for
Producers and sound designers who want a deep, hands-on synth for leads, basses, pads and experimental textures. It suits anyone who likes vintage character but wants modern modulation flexibility.
Key features
- Vintage oscillators with real-time hard sync
- Analog-modeled morphing filters with slopes from 12 to 96 dB per octave
- A 9-layer unison engine with drift, detune, spread and gravity controls
- Audio-rate modulation plus MPE, velocity and aftertouch support, with 20+ built-in effects
