What it is
Felt & Fog is a minimalist, ambient neo-classical piano library for Kontakt from sound designer Renger Koning, built for composers who want texture and atmosphere rather than a straight piano sample. It blends six expressive layers, including a warm felted upright piano, a shimmering processed electric piano, and slow granular fog textures, into patches that range from an intimate solo piano to a fully evolving soundscape. It runs in the free Kontakt Player, so no full Kontakt license is required.
