What it is
Folio Bass is a dual-voice Kontakt ROMpler from Channel Robot built around 300 bass samples recorded through a 1970s Akai valve pre-amp and a Revox B77 reel-to-reel tape machine loaded with vintage Zonal 675 tape. The result is warm, tape-saturated bass tones with genuine analogue character - not a digital emulation. Built-in envelopes, filters, and an arpeggiator make it a surprisingly deep and flexible tool.
Who it's for
Producers working in lo-fi, soul, funk, or any genre that calls for an organic low end - Folio Bass delivers usable, characterful bass tones fast without needing additional processing.
