What it is

The GForce Novation Bass Station is a software recreation of the 1993 Novation Bass Station hardware - one of the defining analog mono synths of the early 90s rave and electronic music era. GForce built this with Novation''s blessing and expanded the original significantly: you get up to 16 voices of polyphony where the hardware had none, plus a new X-Modifier modulation system, a built-in arpeggiator and sequencer, and effects including distortion, chorus, delay, and reverb. The core sound - that raw, punchy, buzzy analog character - is preserved exactly as it was.
