What it is

The OB-EZ is GForce's focused take on their Oberheim 8-Voice emulation. It runs the same engine as the full OB-E - the thick, wide, organic analog polysynth sound that Tom Oberheim and GForce built together - but strips the interface down to the essentials: cutoff, resonance, envelopes, and the most-used controls. The result is a synth designed for workflow: load a preset and play, rather than spend sessions dialing in parameters. The vintage knob adds analog character variation, and presets can be imported into the full OB-E if you want to go deeper. Four panning modes give it the wide stereo spread the Oberheim sound is known for.
