Ghost Cello Try Version
The deal
$5 at Loot Audio (down from $19). The sale ends October 26, 2026.
What it is
Ghost Cello Try Version is a trimmed-down Kontakt instrument from Triumph Audio, roughly one-sixth the size of the full Ghost Cello library. It covers both natural cello articulations and heavily processed, atmospheric patches. The sound leans dark and eerie, built around the developer's Photosynthesis Engine.
Who it's for
Composers and producers working in cinematic, ambient, horror, or sound design styles who want a textured cello source. It also suits anyone who wants to audition the Ghost Cello sound before considering the full library.
Key features
- Authentic patches include col legno, pizzicato, glisses, bends, tremolo, and harmonics
- Processed patches add drones, pads, and evolving movements
- The library has 20 patches (40 with alternate versions) at 885MB, with 24-bit/48kHz WAV samples
- It requires the full version of Kontakt 5.8.1 or higher, and Kontakt Player is not supported
