What it is
Groove Activator is a modern acoustic drum plugin from AJITO SOUNDS, inspired by the original 1995 Groove Activator sampling CD. Drummer and producer Gota Yashiki recorded 10 acoustic drum kits at AJITO Studio in Kyoto using multi-microphone setups (close, overhead, and room mics) through a vintage recording chain, giving the kits a naturally dynamic, roomy character rather than a sterile sampled feel.
