HX-Oddy is UVI's software recreation of one of the world's first duophonic analog synthesizers, an early-1970s instrument famous for its expressive filters and three-octave range. Built on UVI's Hybrid-X Engine, it layers more than 13,000 hardware samples across 180 layers with physically modeled analog filters, giving it the warmth and character of the original hardware alongside modern sound-design tools like cross-modulation and wavetable synthesis. It runs in the free UVI Workstation and requires an iLok account.
