What it is

The WAVESTATION was released by KORG in 1990 and introduced a synthesis approach unlike anything before it: vector synthesis combined with wave sequencing. Instead of static oscillators, it lets you blend and morph four waveforms using a joystick, then arrange those waveforms into time-based sequences that evolve rhythmically or melodically. The result is a sound signature that defined a generation of film scores, ambient records, and electronic productions, and nothing else quite replicates it. KORG Collection WAVESTATION V2 is a circuit-analyzed, detail-for-detail software recreation refined for modern production environments.
