What it is
Lineage Strings is a new orchestral string library from ProjectSAM, built exclusively for Kontakt 8. It covers five separate sections - Violin I, Violin II, Viola, Cello, and Bass - recorded with ProjectSAM's signature natural room sound. Its Adaptive Phrasing engine uses a short lookahead on incoming MIDI to automatically switch between sustains, tenutos, staccatos, runs, and legato transitions to match what's being played.
