What it is

MARKUS 88 is a spectral-modeled electric piano from Sampleson, built by reverse-engineering the harmonic signature of a vintage 88-key suitcase electric piano. Rather than traditional multi-layer sampling, it uses spectral modeling to recreate tine resonance and character - resulting in a smooth, continuous velocity response with no audible layer transitions. The full instrument installs in just 25MB with no third-party dependencies.
