What it is
MLP - Monolith Level-Planes is a companion mixing and mastering plugin from Ayaic, built to run alongside the developer's M3 processor. It's focused on gain-staging and level-plane adjustments, letting you drop multiple instances across different tracks or buses into a session where they behave as one linked, coordinated unit rather than isolated inserts.
Who it's for
Mixing and mastering engineers who already run M3 and want a faster, more consistent way to gain-stage and balance levels across a full session. Producers working on dense multitrack projects who need channels, groups, and buses to move together automatically instead of riding faders one at a time.
Key features
- Dedicated level-plane buttons speed up gain adjustments across every linked instance at once
- Learn, Mix, and Lock modes work at the All Channels, This Channel, or Group level, so control can be as broad or as targeted as needed
- Infinite Duck/Expand groups via MD/E let tracks automatically duck or expand relative to one another
- Self mode adds compressor-style level-riding for automatic dynamics, while Free and Sync modes offer time-based or host-synced Attack/Release timing, including a fast .07ms Attack option in Sync mode
