What it is
MPC R&B DR3AM Keys - Chopped Melodies Xpansion is an .XPN expansion for Akai's MPC software and hardware from DNA Labs Software. It is built around chopped melodic loops with a dreamy, late-night R&B feel: warm keys, silky chords and moody melodies.
Who it's for
MPC producers making R&B, trap-soul, melodic hip-hop or neo-soul who want ready-to-chop melodic starting points. It also suits anyone who wants cinematic, atmospheric keys without building them from scratch.
Key features
- The expansion includes 28 MPC Programs with 16 chopped melodic sounds each, for 448 sounds in total
- It also includes 28 WAV sample loops at 48 kHz/32-bit
- Samples are labeled with tempo and key for faster workflow
- It works with MPC 2 and MPC 3 software and modern MPC hardware (hardware needs MPC Software for conversion)
