What it is
Prima is a virtual soprano vocalist built on Vocaloid 2 technology, modeling the voice of a professional opera singer. It renders synthesized lead vocals, harmonies, and backing vocals through a piano-roll style editor for notes and phonemes, with deep control over vibrato, pitch bend, and tone. It runs as a VST/ReWire instrument inside your DAW, supporting up to 16 simultaneous vocal tracks, and libraries can be imported into Vocaloid3 or Vocaloid4 editors via Zero-G's Library Import Tool.
Who it's for
Composers scoring film, TV, or game trailers who need a dramatic classical or operatic vocal without booking a session singer. Also useful for electronic, world, and ambient producers layering ethereal human-voice textures or backing vocals into a mix.
