What it is

Re-Esser is a de-esser plugin from Wavesfactory that splits sibilance out from the rest of a vocal signal so each part can be treated on its own. Sibilance detection adapts automatically instead of relying on a fixed threshold, and the isolated sibilant or tonal layer can be run through 16 built-in effects, including EQ, compression, reverb, delay, and pitch shifting, for processing well beyond a standard de-esser.
