What it is
Sheng Khaen Sho is a 2.4 GB KONTAKT library from Soniccouture sampling three traditional Asian free-reed wind instruments: the Chinese Sheng, the Laotian Khaen, and the Japanese Sho. Sound is created by both inhaling and exhaling, yielding either a near-endless sustained drone or quick rhythmic pulsing. The library captures the breathy, harmonic-rich timbres of all three instruments with expressive breath-control modeling.
