What it is

Submerge is an automatic sidechain plugin from Slate Digital designed to create the ducking and pumping effects central to EDM, house, and hip-hop production. It supports three trigger modes - auto sync, MIDI, and audio - and three control curve modes for anything from subtle ducking to hard-pumping movement. Eight built-in creative effects let you shape the ducked signal further: center or side channel ducking, compression, filtering, and more.
