What it is

Supra is a hybrid granular synthesizer from WA Production that combines an analog-drifted carrier oscillator with FM modulation, a sample-synchronized granular engine, and a morphing state-variable filter. The result is a monophonic synth built for evolving, organic textures - sine drops, FM growls, bell-like tones, screeching sirens, and atmospheric drones with the unpredictable character of vintage hardware rather than a typical digital wavetable synth.

Who it's for

Producers working in psytrance, experimental electronic, ambient, and bass music who want sound design that goes beyond stock presets. Also a good fit for performers who want a synth they can twist live, since the interface is built around a small set of macro controls rather than deep menu diving.

Key features

• A twin-macro indirect modulation matrix lets one knob morph several parameters at once for fluid, evolving sounds
• The sample-synchronized granular engine stays click-free even at extreme grain settings
• A state-variable filter blends lowpass, bandpass, and highpass in real time for constantly shifting tone
• A pitch-shifting feedback delay with a built-in stereo auto-panner adds width and movement, and a dual randomizer system generates performance variation without breaking the sound
• Supra ships with 300+ factory presets and a clean, single-page interface
