What it is
The TR-909 is Roland's official software recreation of their iconic 1983 hybrid analog/digital drum machine, built with ACB (Analog Circuit Behavior) technology. It models the original analog circuitry for kick, snare, clap, and toms while using the original sample ROM for cymbals. A modernized sequencer with individual instrument lanes and hardware integration with Roland TR-8S and TR-09 devices makes it more usable than the vintage unit while preserving every nuance of the sound.
