XILS Vocoder 5000 is a faithful software emulation of the EMS 5000, a legendary analog vocoder from 1976 that defined the processed vocal sound of progressive rock and electronic music. It processes any audio source - voice, instruments, drums - through up to 22 filter bands paired with dual synthesizer cores to produce classic robotic, melodic vocoder effects. A built-in pitch tracker, frequency shifter, and stereo analysis/synthesis engine extend it well beyond basic vocoding.
