Description
Stolon is a Novaflash Windows VST built around three parallel low-CPU pitch shifters. It can operate as a conventional effect or as a polyphonic instrument driven from a MIDI keyboard, making it useful for stacked harmonies and choir-like textures.
The pitch-shifting design suits detuned layers, robotic voices, synthetic doubling, and other effects where a source needs several related pitches at once. Running multiple shifted voices in parallel keeps the instrument practical for quick experimentation on older or CPU-conscious systems.
