What it is
Acoustica 8 Premium is Acon Digital's stereo and multitrack digital audio editor, built for restoration, processing, and analysis work. Acon Digital is known for its precise, DSP-heavy restoration plugins, and Acoustica 8 folds that same engine into a full editor with a rebuilt interface, AI-driven restoration tools, and more advanced spectral editing, so damaged audio can be repaired much like retouching a photo. It supports resolutions up to 32-bit/384kHz with full 9.1.6 immersive audio support.
Who it's for
Audio engineers, podcast editors, and post-production pros who already run Acoustica 8 Standard and want the full restoration and analysis toolkit without switching editors or relearning a new workflow.
Key features
- Frequency-based spectral editing makes repairing damaged audio as simple as using a photo editor
- It includes the same restoration tools found in Acon's standalone Restoration Suite, including DeNoise 3, DeHum, and AudioFill
- Built-in speech recognition can automatically generate and export captions
- Multiband dynamics processing, Acon's Verberate reverb and Equalize EQ plugins, high-resolution analysis tools, and EBU R128 loudness compliance round out the toolkit
