The deal
$652 at Best Service (down from $872), 25% off. No coupon needed - this is a sitewide sale on Ample Sound's China Series that runs through October 25, 2026.
What it is
The Ample China Bundle packs nine traditional Chinese instruments into deeply sampled virtual instruments: Pipa, Zheng, Qudi, Dongxiao, Dadi, Erhu, Guqin, Konghou, and traditional percussion. Each instrument was recorded with performing Chinese musicians and includes multiple articulations plus improvised licks and effects sounds, so parts sound played rather than programmed.
Who it's for
Composers scoring film, TV, and games who need authentic East Asian instrumentation, along with producers building world music, cinematic, or atmospheric tracks that call for real Chinese instrument textures.
Key features
- Nine fully sampled traditional Chinese instruments in one bundle
- Multiple articulation sets per instrument, with individual libraries ranging from 7.6GB to 12GB
- Improvised licks and effects sounds recorded by professional performers, not just single notes
- Runs natively as AAX, AU, VST2, VST3, and standalone on Mac and Windows
