It was recorded with 18 women and 18 men across four separate ensembles, tracked in both studio and church settings, giving it a raw, non-vibrato chest-voice sound instead of a traditional classical choir tone. Two attack styles, including a distinctive whoa articulation, plus ethereal sustains and an adjustable reverb engine round out the toolkit.
