What it is

BLEASS Sidekick combines a kick drum synthesizer, a 16-step sequencer, and a ducker (sidechain compressor) in one plugin. The kick engine uses an analog-style circuit inspired by vintage beatboxes, with waveform morphing from sine to triangle, adjustable overdrive, a resonant filter sweep, and decay times ranging from short clicks to booming pitched kicks. It runs as VST/AU/AAX on Mac and Windows, plus AUv3 on iPhone and iPad.

Who it's for

Producers who want a fast way to build custom kick patterns or apply creative sidechain ducking across a mix without stacking separate plugins. A good fit for electronic, hip-hop, and pop producers who build tracks around a punchy, rhythmic low end.

Key features

• Kick synthesis with tunable pitch from 20Hz to 100Hz, punch envelope, and impact shaping
• Built-in 16-step sequencer with adjustable length, swing groove, and velocity editing
• Ducker section with threshold, attack, release, ratio, and makeup gain for sidechain-style pumping
• Multi-output routing lets the kick be processed separately from the rest of the mix
