What it is

Clearmountain 8068 is a channel strip plugin modeled on engineer Bob Clearmountain's custom Neve 8068 console, the desk used at New York's Power Station. It captures the harmonics and frequency response of that console in a single mixing tool. It runs as VST, VST3, AU and AAX.

Who it's for

Mix engineers and producers who want classic British console color on individual tracks or busses. It suits anyone who wants an analog-style EQ and saturation stage on drums, vocals, guitars or the mix bus.

Key features

• Full channel strip with a 3-band EQ modeled on the 8068 console
• Mic and Line input modes add harmonic saturation
• An auto gain function keeps levels consistent while you adjust
• A High-Q mode gives tighter, more precise EQ work
• A 14-day demo is available so you can try it before buying
