What it is

DB-30 Drum Butter is a drum processing plugin from XLN Audio, available in VST3, AU and AAX formats. It combines six effect modules - Boom Shack, Shift, Space, Compress, Saturate and More - to shape attack, tone, texture, space and glue on drum sounds. The modules can be reordered and interconnected, so you can build a chain that fits the source.

Who it's for

Producers and mixers who want a single plugin to add punch, weight and cohesion to programmed or recorded drums. It suits anyone who wants fast, hands-on drum shaping without stacking several separate processors.

Key features

• Six interconnectable effect modules with flexible ordering
• Focus Filters and Target Sliders let you process specific frequency ranges or transients
• A Master Section adds EQ, compression and Air controls
• An extensive preset library gives you quick starting points across major DAWs
