The Oberheim DMX defined the sound of early hip-hop, synth-pop, and R&B. Drum machines used on records by Prince, Afrika Bambaataa, Public Image Ltd, and countless others ran on DMX hardware. GForce's recreation captures 288 sounds sourced from 1981 to 1983 production models, with more than 40 preset kits covering classic, modern, and hybrid configurations. Per-track controls include pitch, decay, pan, gain, solo, mute, delay, and reverb sends. A master channel adds a multi-mode SEM filter, distortion, and compressor. Over 70 MIDI files with classic beat recreations are included.
