What it is
Hollywood Strings 2 is an orchestral strings sample library from EastWest, featuring a 21-piece chamber ensemble recorded at EastWest Studio 2 using ultra-close mic techniques. Unlike its predecessor's epic blockbuster scale, HS2 delivers intimate, in-your-face detail across more than 160 articulations and 160GB of samples, powered by EastWest's OPUS engine. It covers 6 first violins, 4 second violins, 4 violas, cellos, and double basses - each captured with 6 adjustable mic positions.
