What it is
Hybrid Studio Taiko is a multi-layered Kontakt taiko drum library built for action-oriented cinematic production. It was recorded with taiko experts Isaku Kageyama and Rannoch Purcell, capturing ensembles of 30", 18", and 16" drums plus solo Odaiko, Chudaiko, Bachi, and Shimedaiko with up to 10 round robins and 4 velocity layers. Every sample also has a hybridized counterpart with synth and distorted layers for added grit and punch.

Trailer composers and cinematic producers who want tight, close-mic'd taiko with real articulation depth rather than the boomy, long-tail sound found in most taiko libraries. A strong fit for action, drama, and hybrid orchestral scoring.
