What it is

Intensity is a spectral processor from Zynaptiq that draws on facial-recognition-style algorithms to boost perceived loudness, density, and clarity in a signal, all without the traditional EQ curves or compression ratios other plugins rely on. The latest version, Intensity 2, expands the original single-control workflow with three selectable processing algorithms - Crystal, Bronze, and Smooth - each producing a different tonal character, plus a frequency-dependent BIAS function that lets you target where the effect lands across the spectrum. A soft-knee saturating limiter sits at the output stage to keep peaks in check as the signal gets denser.
