What it is
The Heaviest Cab in the World IR Pack is a collection of 40 impulse responses captured from a unique 300-pound Mahler 2x12 speaker cabinet made of solid granite. Producer Jakob Herrmann recorded it at Top Floor Studios in Gothenburg using an SSL 6000G console and a mix of ribbon, dynamic, and condenser mics in multiple positions. The result is a dense guitar tone with very little cabinet vibration, giving it an unusually direct low end.
