Jupiter-8
The deal
$99 at KVR Marketplace (down from $199, 50% off). Deal runs through September 1, 2026.
What it is
Jupiter-8 is Roland's software recreation of its legendary 1981 analog polysynth, built with the company's enhanced ACB (Analog Circuit Behavior) modeling for authentic circuit-level warmth. It's known for lush pads, thick strings, and singing leads, with adjustable polyphony from 2 to 8 voices and a Circuit Mod feature for tweaking the underlying analog behavior in real time. Built-in chorus, reverb, flanger, delay, and overdrive round out the effects chain, and it ships with the original factory patches plus a set of newer sounds.
Who it's for
Producers chasing warm analog synth tones for pads, strings, and leads across pop, film score, and electronic genres, especially those without access to (or studio space for) an original hardware Jupiter-8.

- Five built-in effects (chorus, reverb, flanger, delay, overdrive) cover mixing needs without leaving the plugin
- Runs natively on Apple silicon and is available in VST3, AU, and AAX formats
