What it is
ManTube Fuzz by Raccoon Audio is a vacuum tube fuzz plugin that pairs a tube-driven gain circuit with built-in speaker cabinet emulation. It blends three distinct gain engines, Electrified, Supercharged, and Overloaded, through a single Infinity control, letting you dial in anything from a smooth, bloomy overdrive to a ragged, meltdown-style fuzz.
Who it's for
Producers and mix engineers who want a single-box distortion tool for guitars, bass, synths, and drum busses rather than juggling separate pedal-style plugins for each source. It suits anyone chasing analog-style grit without building a full pedal chain.
Key features
- Three blendable gain engines (Electrified, Supercharged, Overloaded) controlled by one continuous Infinity knob
- Built-in Tilt EQ shapes tone before the fuzz stage
- High-pass and low-pass filters clean up the signal after distortion
- Three speaker cabinet models, Bright, Dark, and Boxy, add cabinet character without a separate IR loader
- Runs as VST3/AAX on Windows and Mac plus AU on Mac, with low CPU use and no iLok required
