What it is
MB TMPC is a lo-fi character plugin from Metric Halo, built in collaboration with Terrace Martin's Make Believe Studios. It recreates the signal path of an MPC3000, capturing the 16-bit converter "knock" that defined decades of hip-hop and R&B production. Rather than emulating the whole sampler workflow, it isolates that specific analog-to-digital character and lets you apply it to anything already in your session. Run drums, bass, vocals, or a full mix through it to add that grainy, saturated vintage texture without tracking down old hardware.
