What it is
SPRES is an impulse response plugin from Metric Halo and Make Believe Studios built around a single legendary IR - the one originally known as "Catharsis" that made its way onto hundreds of heavy guitar records after first circulating on the Sneap forums. The plugin bundles that original impulse alongside a new companion impulse designed by Ryan Harvey and Antonio D'Aquino, so you get two takes on the same aggressive cab character. It runs as a zero-latency IR loader with custom EQ curves embedded directly into the included presets, rather than a bare-bones IR file you have to dial in yourself.
