What it is
TPMC is a converter emulation plugin built by Metric Halo in collaboration with Make Believe Studios, producer Terrace Martin's team. It models the exact analog-to-digital converter path of the Akai MPC3000, the sampler that defined the sound of 90s and early-2000s hip-hop and R&B. Running audio through TPMC adds the MPC3000's signature 16-bit "knock" and coloration, the same grit and impact you get from actually sampling through the original hardware.
Who it's for
Beatmakers, hip-hop and R&B producers, and anyone chopping samples who wants that classic sampled-through-hardware texture without owning vintage gear. Especially useful for producers turning jazz, soul, or live instrument recordings into hip-hop-ready drums, bass, and vocal layers.

- Works natively on Apple Silicon as well as Intel and AMD systems
- Available in AAX Native, AU, VST2, and VST3 for macOS 10.10+ and Windows 7+ (64-bit), authorized through iLok
