What it is
MH HaloVerb is an algorithmic reverb plugin from Metric Halo, built around the same DSP as the company's original hardware reverb unit. It can generate reverb tails up to 7 seconds long, from tight rooms to dense, cavernous spaces. Low- and high-frequency pre-filters with a graphic display and band linking let you shape the tone of the signal before it hits the reverb engine, and a built-in impulse visualization shows exactly how the reverb field is decaying in real time rather than leaving you to guess by ear alone.
Who it's for
Mix engineers and producers who want a single reverb that covers everything from subtle room ambience to thick, vintage echo-chamber textures instead of stacking several plugins to get there. It's a good fit for anyone mixing on Mac or Windows who wants precise visual control over decay and tone, not just a handful of preset spaces.
