What it is
MPC PYREX BOYZ - Chopped Melodies Xpansion is a soundware expansion for Akai's MPC platform from DNA Labs Software. It packs cold, futuristic trap melodies built from modern synths, hypnotic arpeggios, aggressive leads, dark pads, icy plucks and warped textures. The material leans toward modern Atlanta trap and darker, street-focused production.
Who it's for
Trap and dark trap beatmakers working on an MPC who want ready-made melodic starting points. It suits producers who flip and chop melodies into their own arrangements.
Key features
- The pack includes 48 MPC chopped melody programs with 16 playable chops each
- It also includes 48 full melody loops with tempo and key info
- Audio is 24-bit / 44.1 kHz WAV and 100% royalty-free
- It uses the .XPN expansion format and works with MPC 2 and MPC 3 software and MPC standalone hardware
