What it is
Chopped Melodies is an MPC expansion from DNA Labs Software built around dark trap and cinematic sound design. It collects chopped melodic samples - haunting pianos, eerie keys, and dark synth textures - meant to be sampled, flipped, and rearranged. Everything loads as an .XPN expansion in MPC software.
Who it's for
Beatmakers working in dark trap, melodic hip-hop, and horror-inspired or cinematic production who want ready-to-chop melodic source material on their MPC.
Key features
- The pack includes 44 MPC Programs with 16 chopped samples each
- It also ships 45 WAV files at 24-bit/44.1 kHz, labeled by key and tempo
- Sounds range from hypnotic arpeggios and ominous strings to atmospheric layers
- It is royalty-free for music production and requires MPC 2 or MPC 3 software
