What it is

MPC TRVP MAFIA - Chopped Melodies Xpansion is a soundware expansion for Akai's MPC software and standalone hardware from DNA Labs Software. It contains 45 chopped melody programs and 45 matching melody loops built around dark, cinematic trap sounds like ominous arpeggios, haunting bells, cold strings and sinister leads. Everything is 24-bit/44.1 kHz WAV and works with MPC2 Software, MPC3 Software and MPC Standalone.

Who it's for

Trap and dark hip-hop producers working on MPC who want moody, ready-to-play melodic starting points. It suits beatmakers who like to flip and re-chop melodies instead of programming them from scratch.

Key features

• Each of the 45 MPC programs has 16 playable chops, so you can play the melodies across the pads
• 45 full melody loops are included alongside the programs
• The sounds cover arpeggios, bells, strings, pads, leads and keys with a dark, atmospheric character
• The audio is 100% royalty-free
