The deal

What it is
Obscura Flux is a Kontakt instrument from Elastic Sounds built around bass and soprano clarinets. It pairs tempo-synced patterns and stackable textures with a True Legato Arpeggiator, where every note within an octave of the previous one uses an actual recorded transition. The result is a moody, expressive wind sound suited to scoring and atmospheric work.
Who it's for
Film, game and ambient composers who want realistic, evolving clarinet lines without programming them by hand. It also suits producers adding organic wind color to cinematic or downtempo tracks.
Key features
- Includes 32 tempo-synced patterns across the full range of bass and soprano clarinet
- The full-range True Legato Arpeggiator covers almost four octaves
- Integrated effects include reverb, delay, tape saturation and hi/lo pass filters
- Recorded at 96kHz/24-bit, at 4.4GB total size, and it requires the full version of Kontakt 6.8 or later
