Overflow

The deal

$69 at Loot Audio (down from $79). The sale runs through October 31, 2026.

What it is

Overflow is a Kontakt instrument from Audiofier built for cinematic sound design. It pairs a playable main layer of keyboards, mallets, bells and plucked sources with two processed companion layers of long textures and echoes. The result is evolving drones, hybrid instruments and unstable atmospheric beds.

Who it's for

Film and game composers and sound designers who want ready-made ambient and textural material they can shape. It also suits producers who layer atmospheric pads and motion under their tracks.

Key features

• 32 playable main sources plus 81 processed sources (35 longs, 35 echos and 11 shorts).
A three-layer engine gives independent processing control over each layer.
33 convolution impulses, plus built-in reverb, delay and modulation, handle space and movement.
Curated randomization generates new sound combinations quickly.
Requires full Kontakt 6.8.0 or later and about 5.6GB of disk space
