What it is

Sinphonica Maestosa Strings is a 60-piece Italian string orchestra from IK Multimedia, sampled at Milan's Officine Meccaniche Studios. The Complete Collection covers the full section, 16 first violins, 14 second violins, 12 violas, 10 cellos, and 8 double basses, with five True Legato styles and up to five dynamic layers per articulation for natural, expressive orchestral writing.

Who it's for

Film, game, and TV composers who need a realistic large-ensemble string sound without hand-programming every articulation, along with orchestral producers who want flexible mic positioning and ready-made ensemble patches for cinematic cues.

Key features

• Five True Legato styles with 40+ articulations per section
• Up to five dynamic layers and six round robins per articulation for natural variation
• Eight microphone perspectives with PALCO virtual stage positioning for custom room placement
• Articulation Morphing and Dynamic Curve control for smooth transitions between playing techniques
