What it is

Punch by Zynaptiq is an intelligent dynamics contouring plugin that restores punch and impact to audio using source separation and frequency-domain processing. Unlike a standard transient shaper, it can work on individual sounds, stems, or full mixes, even material that has already been squashed by heavy compression or limiting. Two processing modes, CRYSTAL (10-band) and SMOOTH (100-plus band), give you a choice between surgical percussive snap and broad, transparent mix-bus enhancement.
